Toys for the Boys Cake

Let it Rip! This is the dialogue in the Anime Beyblade that signals the battle of Beyblades in the Bey Stadium.  I remember bringing my eldest son to a Beyblade competition in Edsa Shangrila Mall several years back.  In anticipation of the long line, we arrived way ahead of everyone else...the mall was still closed but, well, it's always best to be the first! The mall guards were accommodating enough to let us in...anything for our kids!

Well, having boys surely helps in a special way with cake projects that involves toys for the boys. :)  These Beyblade themed cakes were extra-ordinarily fun to make.  Time stood still when I held my brushes and started painting the designs on fondant...I just couldn't stop!

Cream Cheese Poundcake with buttercream icing and chocolate filling made up these fun-filled themed cakes. Kosher food grade colors and painting materials were used for the hand-painted designs.
