Hand-made fondant/gumpaste figure toppers
are one of my favorite to do as a cake stylist.
One figure takes quite some time to finish because each part undergoes
different stages of production. From
modeling, drying, assembly and hand-painting process, it takes at least 5 days
to complete the figure depending on the size and extent of details. Not to
mention the weather condition which is every cake decorator’s nightmare.
Nevertheless, I love working on them! J
